The Company: A privately owned & well-regarded Main Contractor, specialising in JCT Care Homes and turning over some £200M a year, is currently seeking an experienced Contract Manager. The company in question is a £200M T/O, family-owned Main Contractor that not only enjoys 75% repeat business but who also genuinely care about their staff. Area of coverage is South, East & West, cutting off North of the Midlands. Due to an increase in work load, a Contracts Manager is required to hit the ground running and assume responsibility for 2 site management teams on 2 jobs - the company believes that Contract managers should only run 2 jobs at any 1 time, in order to avoid poor health. The Role: Coming from either a Trade, Academic or Engineering background, along with a consistent background in new build care Homes, up to £10M in value, you will be responsible for overseeing Site Management teams (2), in order to ensure an on time and to budget completion, with zero H&S incidents. Client facing skills are extremely important as this company enjoys 75% repeat business on an ongoing basis - this can be demonstrated at interview.
