Mechanical Contracts Manager

Are you an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager seeking a role where your expertise is valued, your contributions recognised, and your career progression supported? Managing mechanical projects ranging from £100,000 to £5 million, you will take full ownership from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include reviewing contract documents, preparing health and safety documentation, overseeing works programmes, managing client relationships, and coordinating subcontractors and site teams. A solid grasp of contract law and financial administration will be essential as you handle reports, variations, and commercial submissions. We are looking for a professional with at least 10 years’ industry experience, a HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering, and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects of this scale. A valid CSCS Card (Black preferred) and a clean driving licence are required. Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Project, Excel, and Word, are desirable, with experience in estimation software being an advantage. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £60,000 to £80,000, complemented by performance-related bonuses and profit-sharing as part of our employee ownership model. Additional benefits include a company car (or allowance), 30 days’ holiday, a pension scheme, in-service life insurance, and private healthcare. The role is based at our Croydon head office, Monday to Friday, with occasional additional hours as required. To maintain a balanced working environment, we are ideally looking for candidates within a 45-minute to one-hour commute.
