Transport Manager Upto £43k + Bonus + Benefits North Lanarkshire Our client is a nicheFMCG Distributor and we are delighted to assist them in their search for an experienced Transport professional as they look to recruit a Transport Manager at their site in Bellshill, on a Monday to Friday basis. Reporting into the UK Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the busy Transport operation, with a fleet size of c15 units and 16 Drivers. The site operates on a multi-drop basis. Key Accountabilities as Transport Manager: * The leadership of all aspects of the Transport operation on shift, in order to ensure that deliveries are made On Time, In Full (OTIF) * To manage and produce Operational KPIs in relation to the Transport department * Tacograph analysis and management * Routing 1 Sunday in 2 (approx) * Working with the Transport team on driver and vehicle availability. * Control and monitoring of cancelled and return orders. The Ideal Person for the Transport Manager role: * Able to demonstrate significant transport experience within a multi-drop, FMCG environment * Possess a CPC Qualification * Be able to demonstrate both strong leadership and people management skills * Be able to work under pressure, multi-tasking and prioritising work-loads successfully. * Excellent commercial acumen This is a fantastic opportunity – we look forward to your application.
