Production Planner

We are looking for a motivated Production Planner to join a dynamic team in the Hetton-le-Hole area. The Production Planner Role: * Creating and maintaining weekly production plans * Acting as the key point of contact for shift teams regarding scheduling and exceptions * Liaising with sales and transport teams to align orders with customer demand * Running Material Requirement Planning and managing raw material orders * Generating stock reports and conducting regular stock takes * Supporting supervisors and maintenance teams with scheduling needs * Providing key performance data, including KPI reports, downtime analysis, and batch cost reports * Attending daily team meetings and factory reviews to ensure smooth operations * Receiving full training in quality management, preventative maintenance, process flows, and standard operational procedures The Successful Production Planner: * Experience in planning and scheduling (ideally in a manufacturing or logistics environment) * Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Strong numerical ability and attention to detail * Organised and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment * A friendly and professional telephone manner Why Join?
