Job Specification: Site Engineer - Thurso, Naver Bridge Project Position: Site Engineer Location: Thurso, Naver Bridge Project Start Date: Monday Shift Type: Day Shift Accommodation provided Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the engineering aspects of the Naver Bridge Project. Ensure that work is carried out to the required specifications, quality standards, and within project timelines. Conduct site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards. Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, and site supervisors to resolve any technical issues. Monitor progress, prepare reports, and update on-site activities for management. Review engineering designs and drawings to ensure their accuracy and feasibility. Provide technical guidance and support to the site team. Ensure proper documentation of all activities and materials used on-site.Requirements: Experience: Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects, particularly bridge and structural works. Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Certifications: Relevant site-based qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, or equivalent). Skills: Strong understanding of construction techniques, health & safety regulations, and quality control procedures. Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders effectively. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement solutions quickly and efficiently.
