We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Account Manager with a proactive, client-focused approach to join our dynamic team. The Technical Account Manager will manage and develop a dedicated client base, combining hands-on technical expertise in water hygiene with strong account management and sales skills. This role involves both delivering on-site technical services ('on the tools') and driving sales growth through client relationship management. You will possess a proven track record in water hygiene, exceptional customer service skills, and a strong desire to transition into a sales-focused role Key Responsibilities Provide customer service and ensure compliance for existing contracts. Perform water hygiene tasks at client sites as instructed. Follow company procedures to ensure compliance. Conduct annual audits with clients. Respond to and quote for inbound sales inquiries. Develop new client relationships. Manage existing contracts. Prepare quotations, reports, and other necessary documentation. Provide technical advice to clients. Assist with our electronic logbook system. Conduct site visits and address any issues appropriately. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients/customers. Assist with marketing initiatives. Contribute to the maintenance and updates of the company website. Handle sales inquiries. Manage sample reports and non-conformances. Achieve set sales targets. Maintain excellent client relationships. Person Specification Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a Water Hygiene role. Proven experience in a customer-facing role. Strong understanding of Legionella Risk Assessments and Legionella Training. Demonstrated background in health and safety, particularly water safety (advantageous). Proven experience and track record in B2B sales. Practical logistical thinking. Strong attention to detail. Methodical approach. Well-organized. Experience in costing out work, with a good understanding of business costs. Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools. Qualifications A sales role is open to all candidates, but a degree or HND in the following subjects maybe particularly useful: Business Sciences Engineering You will need to have: Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
