Welder / Fabricator

We're on the lookout for a Fabricator to join our expanding client based in Loughborough on a full time, permanent basis.

Salary: 15 - 16 per hour (depending on experience).

Hours: 07:00 - 15:30 Monday - Thursday and 06:00 - 14:30 on Friday.

The Role:

As a Welder / Fabricator, you will have strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of sheet metal work. This role requires fabricating, welding and various metal components with use of hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate metal components according to specifications and drawings.
• Assemble parts and structures using various welding techniques.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and efficiency.
• Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in metal fabrication.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings.
• Competence in using various hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Experience with a variety of welding processes.
