Portfolio Procurement has been engaged to recruit a Junior Supplier Quality Engineer for a leading manufacturing business based in Kent.
The Role:
- Deliver the development, implementation and management of the companies Supplier Assessment Process
- Conduct on-site supplier audits processes to ensure suppliers are approved and continue to meet the on-going requirements
- Carry out inspection & testing of products to ensure they meet quality expectations.
Experience:
- Technical or engineering qualification: Degree, HNC or equivalent
- 6-12 months experience in a similar position
- Experience of Supplier Assessment and Supplier Audit processes
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Competent in key MS software particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
