Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Slough

Salary: GBP83 - GBP110 per day

Start Date: Immediate, upon successful interview.

GSL Education is currently seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our client school in Slough . These positions will begin on 15th April . We are looking for passionate individuals who have experience working with children, young people, or adults with special educational needs, as well as in care settings.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant , you will:

• Have at least one year of experience providing SEN support in a school, childcare, or care setting
• Be a dedicated, motivated, and talented educator
• Support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, helping them access the curriculum effectively
• Demonstrate a high level of care, concern, and ambition for our students
• Possess the necessary skills and experience to work with a diverse student population, including those with ASC and SEMH
• Be a positive team player with a great sense of humour
• Be committed to improving achievement and accelerating progress
• Provide support for SEN students and lead activities in both one-on-one and small group settings
• Have experience assessing, evaluating, and reporting on student progress

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Be energetic and patient, with strong classroom management skills
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application through GSL Education
• Be able to provide two professional school-based references
