About the Role
Simply Education is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Childcare Practitioners to join an exceptional early years setting in Manchester (M17 1JE). This nursery is well-regarded for its high standards of care and commitment to fostering a stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years. The setting focuses on providing a holistic approach to child development, ensuring each child's academic, emotional, and social growth is nurtured in a safe and creative space.

As a Childcare Practitioner, you will work closely with a team of skilled professionals to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring children's learning experiences are both fun and educational. With flexible roles ranging from short-term assignments to long-term placements, you'll have the opportunity to develop your career in a supportive and rewarding environment, with many positions leading to permanent roles.

Requirements

• Minimum six months' experience in a nursery or early years setting (enthusiastic newcomers are encouraged to apply).
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Ability to provide a 10-year checkable work and education history.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete two years of referencing and undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years.
• Implement the EYFS framework and deliver structured, age-appropriate activities to promote developmental milestones.
• Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth through creative play and guided learning experiences.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
• Collaborate with the team to continually improve the learning environment and contribute to the overall development of the setting.
