Interaction is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts and Admin Assistant to support with our clients financial and administrative operations.

The Accounts and Admin Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth administrative functions within the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Duties:

  • Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Handle general administrative duties, including managing office supplies, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and statements for management review.
  • Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of office systems and procedures.

To be considered:

  • Proven experience in an accounts or administrative role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software Xero.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
