Design Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Design Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fire and security systems, as well as a strong background in design and surveying. This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of projects involving fire alarms, CCTV, intruder systems, and access control. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate quotes and ensuring that our clients' requirements are met.

• Collaborate with the sales and design teams to create accurate and competitive quotes for fire and security system projects
• Conduct surveys to assess client requirements and ensure that proposed designs meet their needs
• Utilize Opto software to produce detailed designs and estimates
• Communicate effectively with clients to address any queries or concerns
• Keep up to date with industry best practices and product knowledge to ensure high-quality designs and cost-effective solutions

• Proven experience in fire and security system design and estimating
• Proficiency with Opto software for system design and estimation
• Strong knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, intruder systems, and access control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and internal teams
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Reviewing project requirements and coordinating with the sales team
• Conducting site surveys to gather necessary information for accurate quotes
• Using Opto software to produce detailed design layouts and cost estimates
• Communicating with clients to understand their needs and preferred solutions
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure that project requirements are met
