skilled CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator
with experience using
Fanuc & Manual Guide controls
to join their team.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner to work within a
fast-paced, subcontract precision engineering
environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Programming, setting, and operating multi-axis CNC lathes
using
Fanuc & Manual Guide controls
-
Manufacturing precision components from
mild steel, stainless steel, super duplex, brass, aluminium, and plastics
-
Handling a mix of
prototype and medium-batch production
-
Conducting first-off inspections using
verniers, thread gauges, and micrometers
-
Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you should have:
-
Proven experience in
subcontract precision engineering
, with the ability to adapt to frequent job changes

Strong knowledge of
Fanuc & Manual Guide programming
-
Experience working with
bar feed CNC lathes
-
The ability to
set up and reset machines multiple times per day
-
A keen eye for detail and ability to perform
detailed deburring and quality inspections
-
A proactive and reliable work ethic, with the ability to
manage multiple machines simultaneously

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday:
7:30am - 4:30pm

Friday:
7:30am - 1:30pm
