A vacancy that will see you travel the world visiting clients sites performing preventative and reactive maintenance alongside service, installations and commissioning work. No day will be the same! We welcome applications from candidates at all levels from graduates to skilled Engineers looking for advancement in their careers. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you are flexible to be away for periods of up to 3 weeks at a time on occasions. Our client pays door to door travel so you earn from the moment you enter your vehicle, a fully expenses company vehicle is given after a 6-month probation period which may be used for personal use including fuel.

Location: Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire

Hours: 38 hours per week + overtime

Hourly Rate / Salary: OTE GBP50,000 (Basic pay of GBP38,000)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites worldwide and across the UK
• Preventative and reactive maintenance
• Calibration of machines
• Onsite repairs and machine upgrades
• Refurbishment of existing equipment
• Installation, commissioning and test of new machines
• Completion of relevant paperwork, reports, timesheets and expense claims

Critical skills, competency and expectation:

• Electrical / Electronic Qualification Degree, HNC, HND, BTECH is essential
• Strong communication skill in both speaking and writing the English language
• Good literacy skill, grammatical competence is important
• Hold a clean and valid driver license
• No visa / passport bans for travelling in UK and worldwide
• No criminal convictions which would prevent approval of security clearance for travel
