Management Accountant

SF Recruitment are delighted to be retained by a hugely successful SME in Tamworth in their search for a Management Accountant. This is a key hire into the business to support the Finance Director to ensure management accounts are produced in an accurate and timely manner and ensure the seamless running of the small finance function. This is a varied role where you will be expected to be involved in all aspects of finance.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, and be comfortable working within a small finance team with oversight of all of finance.

Duties Include:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Posting journals. accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Fixed assets, VAT returns
• Oversee transactional finance including raising and posting invoices
• Support with chasing payments
• Assist with the preparation of the Board Pack
• Assist with the preparation of annual budget and half year forecasting
• Support with annual audit preparation and liaison with auditors
• Ad-hoc reporting
• Provide cover where needed

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role
• Strong double entry skills
• ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualified or qualified by experience
• Hard working, able to meet deadlines
• Strong excel skills
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
