Quality Assurance Assistant


What Are We Looking For?

Our QHSE department are delighted to welcome applications from candidates to join our business as a Quality Assurance & Compliance Assistant in our Head Office in Inverness. As part of the Quality team, you will have the opportunity to assist in the development, revision and implementation of quality standards and policies within the Company, whilst aiding in our mission to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and consistently meeting required business standards.

You will also play a pivotal role in supporting the day to day operation of the Quality Management System, and assisting with the implementation and maintenance of systems that facilitate productivity, improve processes and guarantee efficiency.

Please note this role will involve travel across Scotland.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Assist with ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards and legislation.
  • Ensure that all required Quality certification is maintained and communicated to internal and external interested parties as required.
  • Perform required ISO 9001 Quality audits and assist with auditing to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Supporting the promotion of quality achievement, performance and continual improvement throughout the organisation.
  • Liaise with RSE teams to establish quality requirements from external suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Support and assist in developing and maintaining control of documents and procedures to encourage best practice and raise quality awareness across all levels of the business.
  • Liaise with Company, external bodies, and customer s auditors, supporting the execution of corrective actions and compliance with customers specifications is achieved.

What Do You Need?

  • Have knowledge and experience of quality standards and models (ISO 9000 Quality Management).
  • Be strategic, methodical, logical and detail oriented.
  • Have proficient interpretation skills for statistics, regulations and policies.
  • Be able to investigate, document, and maintain records accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in audit/reporting/developing quality systems required.
  • Health & Safety and Environmental knowledge.
  • Must have flexibility to work from RSE Offices and site visits on occasion.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
