Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
  • Drafting and coordinating Travel Plans
  • Preparing and presenting technical data and drawings
  • Conducting junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities
  • Ensuring all tasks are delivered on time and within budget
  • Supporting senior colleagues in providing advice on highways and transport matters
  • Conducting site appraisals and designing surveys
  • Keeping electronic and paper project files up to date
  • Assisting with other transport-related tasks as required


What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Experience:
  • Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, or Civil Engineering
  • Understanding or experience of UK Transport Planning standards and processes
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Strong numeracy skills and ability to work with spreadsheets
  • Experience using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus
  • Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload
  • Professional and approachable when liaising with clients and colleagues
