You'll be at the heart of creating precision components, setting up and operating CNC machines, prepping new products, maintaining tools, and keeping everything on track to meet deadlines. Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday Thursday 7am 5pm (4 day working week)

Hourly Rate: GBP18.00 - GBP22.00 PH DOE

Benefits: 25 days holiday including bank holidays, on-site parking, small, friendly team, overtime available.

Duties to Include:

• Program, set and operate the CNC Machines including Manual Lathe s to which you are assigned to - Main machines include Haas and Bridgeport.
• Run production jobs on the CNC machines.
• Carry out inspections on completed batches
• Ensure parts are manufactured correctly and to the drawings
• Meeting tight deadlines.

Skills/Experience Required:

• Experience of using Heidenhain controls and or Haas controls
• Experience with Mastercam Software and One CNC
• Be keen to contribute to the expansion and development of the machine shop.
• Good communication skills
• Strong personal motivation and commitment
• Used to working to tight deadlines
• Good communication and ability to work as part of a small team.
