Job Title: Year 6 Primary Teacher (Maternity Cover) Location: Watford Contract: Maternity Cover (Summer Term) Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30, term time only Salary: MPS/UPS Benefits: PPA time About the Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Primary Teacher to join our team at a lovely 2 form entry, ofsted good, mainstream primary in Watford for a maternity cover role during the Summer Term. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver lessons for Year 6 students across the curriculum * Support and monitor student progress, providing feedback and interventions as needed * Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective learning and classroom management * Prepare students for SATs and their move to secondary school About You: We are looking for a qualified teacher who: * Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) * Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6 * Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills * Is a team player who can work collaboratively with others Why Join Us: We provide a supportive and inclusive environment where both staff and students can thrive.
