Test Technician

Chase Taylor Recruitment is working with a leading manufacturer of bespoke Aluminium Bi-folding Doors and Windows. They are seeking a skilled Test Technician with expertise in CAD and experience in compliance testing to support their product testing processes and ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and support New Product Testing and Compliance Testing * Assist in solving root cause of product non-compliance * Review and oversee implementation of improvement requests in a technical capacity * Create and maintain test reports for indicative and Compliance Testing * Review and advise on installation details and assist with the writing of install manuals * Support SHEQ with ensuring documentation is complete for compliance Knowledge and Experience Required: * Industry experience heavily advantageous but not required * CAD skills having used either 2D or 3D CAD is desirable but not required * Experience in indicative testing and/or compliance testing * Some experience with electronics and actuators would be beneficial * Experienced with the use of measurement equipment (DTIs, LVDTs, Verniers etc) * Installation experience with fenestration products * HNC/HND (or higher) in Engineering or equivalent relevant subject (or proof of capabilities) The right candidate will have: * Ability to collaborate and work independently. * A technical mind with the ability to apply critical thinking to solving problems. * Highly self-motivated. * Professional in your manner of work, organised and well presented in all areas. * An open mind with an aptitude for learning new systems, tools, products and ways of working. * Good attention to detail What’s in it for you: * A competitive salary from £28,000 to £38,000 * A subsidized Healthcare Package * Holiday allowance For more information or to apply please contact Mat Gibson quoting reference MM6093
