GSL Education are on the lookout for a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a wonderful school in Rotherham . If you enjoy working with young learners and helping them stay focused in class, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As a Cover Supervisor (CS) , your role will be to ensure smooth lessons and support students when their usual teacher is absent. You will be the guiding hand that keeps students on track, ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment.

What Will You Do?

• Supervise and Manage: Ensure students remain focused and on task during lessons in the teacher's absence.
• Follow Lesson Plans: Deliver pre-arranged lessons across various subjects.
• Motivate Students: Keep students engaged, excited, and eager to learn throughout the day.
• Maintain Classroom Order: Create a respectful and positive learning environment for all students.
• Provide Feedback: Offer updates to teachers on student progress and classroom behaviour.

What We Need from You:

• Comfortable managing a classroom full of students.
• Passion for helping young people learn and succeed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with students.
• Previous experience with young learners is helpful but not required.
• A relevant qualification or degree is a bonus, but not essential.
• Confidence in delivering pre-planned lessons and adapting to different subjects.
• An up-to-date CV and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply).
