We are working with a local family-run distributor of metal products in Ripley. They have a great culture of rewarding their employees and have many long term service awards!

They're seeking a PART TIME Accounts Assistant to join the team to assist with added workload on their finance department. You will be part a close knit team with flexible working hours and days to fit around your personal life!

This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounts clerk/assistant to join a thriving business but still have the flexibility to fit around family life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining income records to be invoiced
  • Processing purchase orders and sending to suppliers
  • Management of purchase cards, obtaining VAT invoices and checking to purchase orders with appropriate authorisation
  • Invoicing in line with procedures to receive payments in a timely manner
  • Processing internal recharges and transfers
  • Monthly debtor reporting
  • Monthly reconciliation of credit card and direct debits
  • Ensuring all month-end deadline are met
  • Assisting with finance related queries internally and externally
  • Adhoc General admin duties

Working hours: Flexible to suit yourself - ideally 3 days per week (16-20 hrs)
