Head Chef in Nepalese Cuisine


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nepalese Cuisine Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety standards. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food production while maintaining a positive and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage all kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality food preparation.
  • Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations, maintaining strict food safety standards.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen at all times.
  • Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant or culinary setting.
  • Strong background in supervising kitchen operations, including team management and culinary techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation methods, cooking techniques, and presentation styles.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team towards achieving common goals.
  • A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Requirement:

High standard of communication skill in English and Nepali
