Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Salary: GBP48,000 to GBP58,000
Location: Full time office to start, once settled will drop to 3 days per week - office in Ashford, Kent. Occasional site visits.

A small multi-disciplined Design, Survey and Project Management Consultancy that works on a range of infrastructure projects, primarily rail, is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to assist on Rail Station projects, among others.

As a pivotal member of a multidisciplinary team, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a diverse array of projects spanning various sectors.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering/Environmental/Building Services Engineering
• HNC/HND level in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
• Working towards Engineering Council Registration
• Knowledge of engineering principles and construction industry design processes.
• Knowledge of current legislation and regulations e.g., Building Regulations, British Standards, etc.
• Experience of designing to achieve BREEAM ratings.
• LV design experience.
• Driven for progressive and continued learning.
• Rail experience beneficial, interest in working on rail projects essential.

Software Proficiency:

• AutoCAD/REVIT
• Relux or Dialux
• Trimble Pro Design/Amtech (or equivalent)
• MEP Worx (desirable)
• NBS Chorus
