Laboratory Technician

Proactive are recruiting for a Lab Technicians to work at a Pharmaceutical Microbiology laboratory in Wokingham.

Start Date: ASAP

Hours of Work: 09:00 - 17:00

Shift Patterns Available:

Tues to Saturday (36 hours, 7.2 hours / day)

Sunday to Thursday (36 hours, 7.2 hours / day)

Friday to Monday (28.8 hours, 7.2 hours / day)

Saturday and Sunday only (14.4 hours, 7.2 hours / day) with upfront training occurring during week days.

As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Perform a range of basic routine analysis, product manufacturing and sample preparation under supervision of a senior member of staff
• Perform laboratory tasks following specified methodologies, such as Standard Operating Procedures
• Use of specified instrumentation and laboratory equipment, including calibration where required
• Produce reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of laboratory work undertaken and results
• Be competent in the use of generic and specific software packages required for the role: Laboratory's LIMS system, Q-Pulse, etc

To be considered for this Lab Technician role, you should possess the following:

• Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions
• Able to perform repetitive work to high standards in high throughput environment
• Flexible and adaptable in a workplace and enjoys the challenge to adapt to different teams and working environments
• Previous experience working within a lab environment and to GMP standards.
