Assembly Operative

Kenect Recruitment is looking to hire an experienced Assembly Operative for a temp-perm position in Atherstone!

The Company:

Our client is a specialist healthcare equipment manufacturers and distributors. They have been distributing medical seating's for the past 17 years.

Formed in 1995, they specialise in producing hospital beds, seating's and pressure care surfaces.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Thursday 07.00 am to 16.30 pm
• Fridays 07.00 am to 13.00 pm

Salary:

• 13.20 per hour plus holiday pay accrual at 12.07%

The Role:

• Being involved in the manufacturing process, start to finish of the medical furniture
• Upholstery work using a pneumatic stapler (no sowing)
• Use of battery powered tools including drills and ban saws
• Quality control checking
• Relocation of stock within the production area
• Very occasional deliveries (driving licence required)

This role is fast paced and physically demanding due to lifting products such as steel frames and plastic molded backings.

• Must have experience using the above tools
• Must be able to lift heavy items in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a full, up-to-date CV containing no gaps in employment
• Must have previous warehouse experience, ideally within the medical industry
• Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
• A FLT Reach licence preferred but not essential
