Maintenance Engineer

Job Opportunity: Maintenance Engineer Salary: Up to £40k Working Hours: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (days & back shifts) SRS Partnership is partnering with a leading manufacturer in the building/construction industry, supporting them in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team. With an impressive client base, including national construction companies and private individuals, they are looking for an experienced engineer to help maintain and improve their production equipment. Your Role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll work within a small but dynamic team, ensuring the smooth operation of the site’s production equipment. Your responsibilities will include both reactive and proactive maintenance, fault finding, and improving systems to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum. Key Responsibilities: * Perform reactive & proactive maintenance to minimize downtime on production equipment * Follow maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion * Install new equipment as necessary * Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults * Contribute to summer & winter overhauls to maintain plant equipment * Engage in continuous improvement activities and meetings * Complete work permits and ensure health & safety standards are met * Build effective relationships across the business * Participate in special projects as required Skills & Experience: * At least 2 years of experience in maintenance within a production environment * Time-served multi-skilled maintenance professional (18th Edition wiring regulations) * Experience with PLC’s, Servo Drives, Robotics & Automation is a bonus * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with teams at all levels * Self-motivated with a focus on quality If you are a proactive and flexible Maintenance Engineer with a passion for problem-solving, we’d love to hear from you!
