• Own transport required due to location

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fabricator / Welder to join this well-established family run business. The ideal candidate will have expertise in metal fabrication, with strong competencies in TIG and MIG welding, as well as mechanical fitting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform metal fabrication tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
• Execute both TIG and MIG welding processes on various metals ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct mechanical fitting tasks, ensuring precision alignment and assembly of components.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and adherence to client and company specifications.
• Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively.

Skills / Experience:

• Proven experience in metal fabrication.
• Welding, specifically with TIG and MIG down to 1.2 mm on stainless steel.
• Strong mechanical fitting skills with an eye for precision and detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

We are also interested in speaking with candidates with Agricultural machinery experience.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 07.30 am to 4.30 pm or 06.30 am - 3.30pm
