Auto Electrician

We are currently recruiting for Automotive Electricians to join a UK leading manufacturer at their top class site in Hixon, Staffordshire (ST18). These roles are long-term temp to perm opportunities.

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing and engineering environment, with a company that promotes from within, and has many exciting opportunities ahead.

• Having your own car/motorbike is essential due to the location of the work.
• Paid training is provided within an on-site state of the art training centre.

Automotive Electrician key job details:

• Monday to Thurs: 08:00 to 17:00, Fridays: 08:00 to 14:00.
• Rates offered start at 13.23ph (potential for higher D.O.E), weekly pay
• Overtime is available and paid at premium
• Temp to perm opportunity

Automotive Electrician duties:

• Assisting with the installation of various electrical components to commercial vehicles (sensors, lights, GPS systems)
• Working from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other blueprints
• Loom assembly and running wiring looms to specification
• Fault finding
• Installation of other electrical components (RCD sockets for example)
• Adherence to company health & safety procedures
• Ability to work to targets and deadlines

Automotive Electrician person specification:

• Previous experience of working in an electrical biased role within sectors such as aerospace, automotive, HGVs, rail is essential.
• Hold a relevant electrical qualification
• You must be able to interpret and work from schematics and wiring diagrams
• Full UK Driver's license with your own transport
• The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
