Class 2 Hiab Driver

More Recruitment are currently recruiting a Class 2 HIAB Driver on behalf of one of our clients in Hinckley

We have an immediate requirement for a Class 2 driver with a vehicle-mounted crane licence (HIAB). Training will be provided for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Driving a 32T rigid flatbed vehicle with a vehicle-mounted crane.
• Delivering and off-loading concrete products to building sites.
• Working Monday to Friday, with start times typically around 5:30-6:00 AM and finishing around 4:00 PM. Flexibility is required as no two days are ever the same.

Candidate Experience / Requirements: Must Have:

• Experience with flatbed work.
• Proficiency in using straps and ratchets for securing loads.
• Experience delivering to building sites.
• Ability to use initiative, apply common sense, and work safely at all times.
• Physically strong and able to manually lift up to 20kgs. The crane has a hook attachment and requires the use of chains, slings, and trays.

For insurance purposes, candidates must be at least 25 years of age, have two years of experience driving an LGV, and have no more than 6 points on their licence.

This is a permanent role, but can be offered on a temp-to-perm basis for someone looking for a long-term position.

The hourly rate of pay is 15 per hour PAYE or 18.75 per hour LTD.
