Litho & Digital Print Finishing Manager

Position: Litho & Digital Print Finishing Manager Location: North London Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience Hours: Monday to Friday - 8 hours per day 7am to 3pm (can be flexible) The Role: * To support the goals of the Production Department and to achieve the smooth running of the Finishing Department * Ensure that budgets and commercial targets are met, and to help to ensure the smooth running of the Production Department * Help to achieve the Clients SLAs, to meet their planned schedules, customer specifications and expectations * To be able to lead and manage the Litho & Digital Finishing Department * Gain a full knowledge of the range of services provided in the Litho & Digital Finishing Department * Be able to understand the company’s Management Information Systems in regards to estimating, job bags, delivery systems etc. * Recruit and manage the Department Staff, including all aspects of time & attendance and discipline * Have a full working knowledge and understanding of the various finishing processes,the equipment within the Finishing Department and the products the equipment is capable of producing * Be fully conversant with and be able to operate a range of folding, guillotine, stitching, perfect binding, lamination, one piece mailing equipment and their capabilities * To ensure that all of the correct procedures are followed for ISO quality checking and the appropriate paperwork is completed * Help ensure that all of the departments SLA’s are met * Perform the required daily machine safety checks * Raise and log all engineer calls * Help to achieve team and individual targets as set by the Production Department Management * To complete time sheets and quality control documentation as required by the senior management team * Undertake support tasks as required by the senior management team * Complete projects as and when requested by the Production Director Requirements: * Able to follow written and verbal instructions, attention to detail * Successful 2 years proven record of accomplishment gained within a Print, Finishing, Mailing environment at a similar level
