Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 annual salary plus full expenses travel to site Location: South London Company Description A well-established and respected M&E contractor based in London are actively seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the flagship refurbishment and extension to a well-known hospital in the South London region. My client is a market leader in the commerical office, pharmaceutical/healthcare and hotel & leisure sectors with project values up to £30 million MEP. This individual will take the project from inception till completion with as the project is set to commence in August/ September time, so prior experience delivering a project from cradle to grave is required. Progression to Contracts Management attainable with successful delivery.What we're looking for: In a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer role with example of successful project deliver upwards of £15 million M&E or successful Mechanical Project Management with projects valued upwards of £10 million M&E. Commutable to Central London & South London.Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience: Effectively maintain client relationships to secure repeat work. Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction phase through to successful project handover. Managing on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure high standards of mechanical installation. Effectively maintain client relationships to secure repeat work. Lead regular progress meetings, and act as the main point of contact for mechanical concerns or design changes. Overseeing procurement of mechanical materials and equipment, ensuring that all purchases align with project budgets and timelines. Corresponding with the Site team, to monitor installations to ensure they meet regulatory standards, high-quality expectations, and project specifications. Upholding health and safety standards on-site and ensuring all works adhere to relevant legislation and building codes. Providing regular reports to senior management and clients, detailing project progress, forecasts, and any necessary adjustments.
