Position: Catering Assistant
Location: Middlesbrough
Contract Type: Temporary
Start Date: ASAP April 2025
Contract Length: 3 months
Working Pattern: Part-Time 26.25 hours -2-week rota with shifts between 12:00 - 20:00 (Week 1: Mon, Tues, Sat & Sun, Week 2: Wed, Thurs & Fri)
Pay: 12.21 per hour

As a Patient Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to patients at a busy healthcare facility. You'll be part of a dedicated team, ensuring that every meal is served with a smile and meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Meal Preparation & Service: Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals and beverages to our patients.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhering to health and food safety regulations to guarantee a safe environment for everyone.
• General Cleaning: Performing general cleaning duties in food areas to maintain a hygienic workspace.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous Experience: A background in a similar catering or customer service role.
• Numeracy Skills: A good standard of numeracy to accurately process transactions through the Till system.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service abilities, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Communication Skills: First-class communication skills that demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team Player: A collaborative spirit that thrives in a team-oriented environment.
