Marketing Executive Location: Coleford, Gloucestershire Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (1-hour lunch break) Salary: Competitive Salary Job Description Our client is seeking a creative and driven Marketing Manager to work closely with the team and assist in maximising the company’s digital presence across markets and sectors. Key Responsibilities of a Marketing Executive * Manage marketing digital assets and platforms. * Support the Marketing Manager in implementing marketing campaigns and activities. * Enhance brand awareness across markets and sectors. * Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical, case study, and marketing content to support campaigns, events, and trade shows. * Write and develop engaging, technical, and creative content for both online and print media, including photos, videos, graphics, and animations. * Update and maintain the internal Marketing Hub. * Manage social media channels and the website to boost audience engagement, in alignment with the marketing plan. * Assist in organising exhibitions and events, with occasional support at trade shows on location. * Work with external agencies and the Marketing Manager to support campaigns and generate analytic reports. * Conduct research and monitor competitor marketing activities. * Research advertising and marketing opportunities. * Identify promotional opportunities (exhibitions, sponsorships, and advertising leads) and implement them. * Liaise with external printers, designers, and other suppliers. Key Skills of a Marketing Executive * Recognised marketing or business qualifications. * Extensive knowledge of CMS – WordPress (for daily content management). * Experience in digital promotional campaigns, including campaign management and performance measurement. * Strong understanding of digital and social marketing best practices. * Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools. * Knowledge of basic video production, photo editing, animations, and graphics. * Business savvy and commercially aware. * Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills for both online and print. * Strong communication skills. * Ideally, experience in B2B marketing. * Excellent time management and organisational skills. * Strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills. * Can-do attitude with a commitment to delivering results.
