Warehouse Operative

Job title: Warehouse Operative Location: Uckfield Working hours: Monday - Friday (42 - 45 hours per week) Hourly rate: £12.12 p/h (will increase to £12.89 in April)HRGO Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in the industrial sector. The ideal candidate will have a Forklift License, however if the licence has expired the client will arrange for a refresher course for the right person. Be able to perform heavy lifting tasks. Individuals should be physically fit, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. Must have Warehouse Experience Responsibilities: Operate forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse loading and unloading vehicles locating specific items around the warehouse Perform heavy lifting tasks as required Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment stock preparation for production lines Follow all safety procedures and guidelines keeping work area clean and tidyRequirements: Valid Forklift License Ability to lift heavy objects Perform physical tasks and be physically fit Previous warehouse experience preferred Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team previous experience working in a warehouse environment (minimum 1 year) ability to work in fast-paced environment
