Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Central London Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 + Travel Allowance Project: £120m Office Fit Out Company Overview: A leading Main Contractor specializing in large-scale commercial projects, we are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This exciting opportunity will see you working on a £120m office fit-out project in Central London, playing a key role in the commercial team. Role Overview: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be the number two to the Commercial Lead and will be instrumental in delivering this prestigious project. You will manage the commercial aspects of the project, ensuring that it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Provide cost management support throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in the preparation of budgets, cost plans, and forecasts. Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budget and scope. Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers, managing relationships and expectations. Undertake valuations, cost reporting, and manage change control. Support the Commercial Lead in risk management and contract administration. Provide mentorship to junior members of the commercial team. Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a background in office fit-out or commercial projects. Strong understanding of cost management, contract administration, and project delivery. Experience managing large-scale projects with a value of £50m+ (preferred). Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
