Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Job title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor  Sector: Civil Engineering  Thorn Baker are working with a popular, award-winning civil engineering contractor who are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a large-scale civils project in Bridgwater. Our client are looking to bring someone in on a permanent basis. We are looking for someone who can support the Commercial Team.  What we are looking for: Degree level education or relevant experience in a similar position Knowledge of NEC contracts Proficient user of Excel and other Microsoft Packages Construction experience, specifically civil engineering is preferred  Strong verbal and written communication Responsibilities: Produce monthly cost value reconciliation reports Ensure any commercial risks are identified and managed accordingly  Provide support to the commercial team  Compile forecasts and attend forecast meetings Supply chain management Maintain relationships with clients  What we can offer you: Salary up to £45,000 Pension contribution Performance related bonus Healthcare package Life Assurance Next steps: If shorlisted, a consultant will be in touch within 48 hours For more information please reach out to jack on  or (phone number removed)
