Senior Accountant

A growing practice is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their Leeds. This client have had a great 2024, and as a result, are looking to add a senior accountant to allow them to continue growing in 2025. With a highly varied client base, the successful candidate will develop great exposure across all areas of accounting, coupled with working within a highly supportive environment. This senior be instrumental in managing client engagements, supporting more junior team members, and contributing to a high performing atmosphere. Duties and Responsibilities Supporting the senior management team, duties of the Senior Accountant will include the following: · Oversee an allocation of clients within a varied portfolio · Preparation of Statutory accounts · Preparation of Management Accounts · Corporate and Personal Tax · Review of accounts prepared by the team · Training and advice on accounting software · Assist with staff development and training Skills and Qualities · 3 years experience in a practice environment · ACCA/ ACA Qualified, QBE, Part Qualified Salary/Benefits · Free Parking · In-house training/development · 23 Days plus 8 bank holidays · Free Parking · In-house training/development · 23 Days plus 8 bank holidays
