Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor Location: Tamworth Salary: Competitive (Based on Experience) About the Role: Our client, a leading building services contractor, is looking for a passionate Health & Safety Advisor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to progress in their H&S career. The ideal candidate will come from an M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) background, with hands-on experience, ideally having come off the tools or with some foundational knowledge of health and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities: * Support in the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety policies and procedures. * Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. * Provide advice and guidance on safe working practices across M&E projects. * Assist in risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation. * Promote a safety-first culture across the business. * Support the development and delivery of H&S training for site teams. Key Requirements: * Previous experience in the building services industry, ideally with an M&E background. * A genuine passion for progressing within Health & Safety. * Knowledge of health and safety regulations, ideally within the construction or M&E sectors. * Ability to assess risks and implement safe working practices. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. * Relevant health and safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar) are beneficial but not essential.
