JR258: Project/Business Development Manager Location: London (N7) Salary: £45,000 per annum Overview: First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Project/Business Development Manager on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel, but all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Support the director in the delivery of all fire door and passive fire projects, ensuring successful project execution. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. Assist in business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and supporting the growth of the company's service offerings. Support fire door inspections, complete fire door reports, and submit findings to clients in a timely and professional manner. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and project specifications. Maintain accurate project documentation and reports, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible. Manage and deliver all estimating functions, including the preparation and submission of client quotations. Scan industry portals for new work opportunities and contribute to business growth strategies. Attend client meetings to provide updates, address concerns, and build strong working relationships. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining compliance across all projects. Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. BM Trada 3rd party accreditation knowledge is required to ensure compliance with industry standards. Familiarity with fire door inspection applications such as One Trace or Boris is highly desirable. In-depth understanding of fire door and fire stopping regulations, ensuring all work meets the necessary legal and safety standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly. Ability to work independently and take initiative in managing projects and responsibilities. Strong organizational and time-management skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. A problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and seeing tasks through to completion. Location: London (N7) Salary: £45,000 per annum
