Welder/Fabricator

Due to continued growth a position has become available for an experienced welder to join a growing busy manufacturing/Engineering company based near Oakham.

Responsibilities :

• Mig welding
• Set-up and layout jobs using engineering drawings, diagrams, and fixtures.
• Carrying out welding operations in accordance with appropriate welding procedure specification.
• Use of grinders/sanders and general hand tools
• Requirement to do other fabrication work and associated tasks as required.

Person Specification:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Competent in reading and understanding engineering drawings
• Able to use various hand tools whilst adhering to H&S procedures
• Attention to detail
• Good team player with ability to communicate well with others
• Organised and able to prioritise workload to ensure products can be dispatched on time

Hours and Pay:

• Monday - Friday (Days)
• Up to GBP14/hour DOE
• Overtime available
