We are seeking approachable and adaptable individuals to join our evolving Inclusive Learning Team, supporting students who need to overcome barriers to their learning. You will primarily work with students during term time on a 1:1 or small group basis in the classroom, encouraging independent learning and enabling their personal learning targets to be met.
For appropriately skilled individuals who wish to work full time (i.e. in addition to supporting students during term time), we can offer the opportunity to work within a range of cross-college teams to provide for example administration, marketing, admissions and IT services support.
This is a highly rewarding role and would be suited to somebody with great enthusiasm and effective communication skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to relate to young people and/or adults with a range of additional needs, including learning disabilities, mental health needs, social emotional difficulties, and physical care. A recognised 'Learning Support' related qualification is desirable, and experience of SEND would be particularly advantageous.
