Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
Salary: Competitive, with 10-hour guaranteed shifts

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join a team in Preston for night shift operations. This role is ideal for drivers who are comfortable with trunking work and operating double-decker and curtain-side trailers.

As part of the logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods to and from thier main hub, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. You will play a key role in supporting our overnight operations, with guaranteed 10-hour shifts Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out night trunking routes to and from the main distribution hub
• Operate Class 1 double-decker and curtain-side vehicles
• Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and professional manner
• Perform vehicle checks and complete all relevant paperwork
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and compliance
• Adhere to company and legal driving regulations

Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Comfortable with night driving and long-haul trunking routes
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Ability to work independently with good attention to detail
