We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed
Primary Teacher
(KS2) to join our friendly, supportive team at a
two-form entry primary school
in Southwark, joining a thriving
multi-academy trust
. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a small, nurturing school with a close-knit community. The role is a
full-time, fixed-term position
starting
September 2025
until
July 2026
.
Primary Teacher Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the
National Curriculum
for
Upper Key Stage 2
-
Develop engaging and differentiated learning activities that challenge and support all students in reaching their full potential.

Work closely with the
Teaching Assistant
to ensure tailored support for students, especially those with additional learning needs.
-
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents on academic achievements and development.

Lead, guide, and motivate Key Stage 2 pupils, ensuring they are well-prepared for their transition to secondary school.

Collaborate with the wider staff team and leadership to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the school.
Primary Teacher Key Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
and recent experience teaching
Upper Key Stage 2
or a desire to teach it

Excellent behaviour management techniques with a good sense of humour

Experience working in a
primary school
setting, preferably within a
one-form entry
school environment.

The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.

Passionate about supporting children's development both academically and socially.
