Technical Business Analyst – 12 month Contract - £775 Per Day (Inside IR35) – Hybrid / London Overview: A global investment bank is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join its Risk IT team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge financial technology solutions, driving efficiency and innovation in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of investment banking operations, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions. Extensive experience in an investment banking environment, along with expertise in various risk areas (credit, market, liquidity, regulatory, etc.), is crucial. Role & Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document complex business requirements for IT solutions. Work closely with IT teams to design and implement innovative solutions that align with business objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvement and leverage technology to enhance efficiency. Contribute to project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure alignment with strategic goals and timelines. Maintain strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution. Develop and execute test plans to validate IT solutions against business requirements and quality standards. Essential Skills and Requirements: Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Visio. Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel). Solid understanding of IT systems and architectures within investment banking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address complex business challenges effectively. Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of investment banking processes and regulatory considerations.
