Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist (SLT) Location: Central London – Hammersmith, Fulham & Chelsea Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Locum Working Pattern: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (9:00–17:30) Rate: £395/day Job Overview: We are urgently recruiting for a high-paying locum Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join a well-established Special School service based in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, supporting children and young people aged 3–19 in an inclusive and forward-thinking school environment. Key Responsibilities: * Provide comprehensive Speech & Language Therapy support to students aged 3–19 within the Special School setting * Deliver individualised treatment plans for children with complex needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and speech disorders * Assess, diagnose, and implement therapy plans for communication and feeding difficulties * Provide support and training to school staff and parents to ensure consistency in communication strategies * Use SystmOne to manage and document clinical information in line with service policies * Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to EHCP reviews Requirements: * HCPC-registered Speech & Language Therapist * Minimum 2 years’ experience working in paediatric SLT within school settings * Proven experience with Dysphagia management * Up-to-date compliance, including enhanced DBS * Experience working within a special education or complex needs setting is highly desirable * Confident using SystmOne (training will also be provided)
