Job Title: Operations ManagerLocation: Bulgaria (East) I am assisting a Scottish-based client of mine - who are a leading manufacturing company that are opening a new facility in Bulgaria and are looking for an Operations Manager that is fluent in English and Bulgarian. With a commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability, they have established themselves as a trusted name in their chosen industry. They are looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and drive operational excellence. Job Description: As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their manufacturing facility in the East side of Bulgaria. You will ensure that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your role will involve managing a team of supervisors and production staff, optimising workflows, and implementing best practices to achieve operational goals. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage all aspects of the manufacturing operations, including production, quality control, and maintenance. * Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. * Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations. * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff. * Manage budgets, resources, and schedules to meet production targets and deadlines. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and excellence. Qualifications: * Proven experience as an Operations Manager in a manufacturing environment. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
