They are now seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in heating systems, ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of various heating equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties * Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential and commercial properties * Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely * Diagnose faults in heating equipment and implement effective solutions * Assemble components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring compliance with safety standards * Perform plumbing tasks associated with heating installations, including pipe fitting and soldering * Carry out heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs * Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used * Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, when necessary for comprehensive project completion * Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on-site Qualifications * Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or similar role is preferred * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively * Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to installations * Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively * Ability to weld and assemble components as needed for various projects * A valid driving licence is required * Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks associated with the role * Relevant qualifications or certifications in plumbing and heating engineering or related fields are required.
