DevOps Engineer

Job Role: DevOps Engineer (AWS) Location: Hereford (3 days a week on-site) Salary: £80,000 – £110,000 DOE Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer with AWS expertise, looking for a role that directly contributes to meaningful, high-impact solutions? In this role, you'll directly contribute to tech used by defence agencies, security agencies, and first responders – improving secure communication, helping decision-making, and supporting real-time responses in frontline operations. Your expertise will be key in building and optimising secure and reliable infrastructure. What You'll Do: * Design, build, and manage secure, scalable AWS cloud environments. * Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible. * Utilise edge computing to deliver secure, low-latency solutions. * Collaborate closely with technical teams, ensuring solutions align with security and operational standards. What You’ll Bring: * Willingness to go through SC clearance (essential due to the sensitive nature of projects). * Proven AWS experience, ideally within secure environments. * Experience integrating public and private cloud infrastructures to deliver unified hybrid cloud solutions. * Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible. * Knowledge or experience with Kubernetes and Docker. * Proficiency in Python or Golang.
