We are seeking an experienced Housing Services Manager to lead a tenancy services team for a Housing Association in the West Midlands. Key Responsibilities: Tenancy Management: Ensure tenancies are managed in line with tenancy conditions and best practice. Oversee regular case reviews, proactively addressing complex and unusual issues. Enforcement and Support: Take appropriate and proactive action in cases of tenancy breaches, including anti-social behaviour, property condition, and failure to allow access. Balance enforcement with the need to support vulnerable customers in sustaining their tenancies. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and track metrics that demonstrate the success of the team’s performance. Ensure all tenancies are risk-assessed, using data from various sources to maintain a clear picture of tenancy performance. Develop and review tenancy management reporting, making the most of technology and team expertise. Leadership & Team Development: Provide coaching and leadership to staff, fostering strong people management skills. Build good relationships with tenants and stakeholders. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve service delivery. Person Specification: Proven experience in a similar housing management role. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex tenancy issues. Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills. Ability to investigate complaints and provide effective customer responses. Track record of producing reports and analysing statistics to improve service outcomes
